Value of my s2 with/without toys

    Evening chaps,

need some guidance on prices for S2's. They seem to be up and down loads these days!
I would like your estimate on price of my car with/without the rs2 bits

    Current Spec:

    93 L ABY Coupe 124k miles
MRC Mapped by Doug/Minhea to 1.9 bar Running 370bhp (with printout)
    RS2 Turbo
    RS2 Manifold
    RS2 Injectors
    RS2 Intercooler
    Milltek Sports zorst Turbo back
    6 speed (quickshift)
    BBS LM Style 18" Alloys
    Uprated Brakes
    Full Heated Leather
    Full Carbon pack
    etc

Now Id like your thoughts on price of me taking the RS2 Parts off (turbo, injectors,IC,Manifold, ecu) and converting to Homefry spec keeping the Zorst.

Basically I reckon to go from stock aby to rs2 power you are looking at £1.5k easy and I am toying with the idea of keeping the goodies myself for my next s2 project:mischeif:

Or would it be a better idea selling it as it is then buying all the goodies separate for the next car?

    Thoughts please

Eventually it will cost you less if you take the parts off and sell the car as original, or there must be someone looking for the S2 as is and willing to pay for the extras it has.

Sounds reasonable to me, I would pay 1k more for RS2 spec over standard chipped.

ok so correct me if i am wrong:

              rs2 turbo £600?
              rs2 ic £200
              rs2 injectors £200
              rs2 manofold £300
              remap £250 min

So all in £1550 give or take and not to mention time etc

I dont think an rs2 turbo that has been running 2 bar for 4 years+ is worth £600.. maybe £400 at a push but even so.
Other then that your prices are about right i think.

Remap is also questionable value, as it might knock on someone else's car or be too rich/too lean.
There's a reason it is a custom map...

From my experience - just put the car to standard and sell all the goodies separately if you want it to go quick.
And yes, 600 GBP is very steep for a used RS2 turbo imo.
Manifold is also not really worth much more than 200 in my eyes, as around that you can get a new china cast replica, which is at least as reliable as the real thing.

Ultimately, it is about finding the right buyer and less hassle to just sell the car as-is rather than parting out the goodies. The question is - do you have the time to wait?

thanks for the fedback guys, but just to clarify I am NOT selling anything separately I only have 2 intentions

                          1) sell the car complete and get as much as poss for it

2)take the rs parts off and keep for my new s2 project and sell the car stock-ish

question is which is more cost efficient?

If you want your new project to be the same spec then take the bits off, no contest.

                            Going back to an avant?
