I'd ask for pictures of where the wastegate fit and where the turbo bolts too. I've seen some saying they are genuine and the bolt hole for the turbo aren't centred properly.

Looks like it is real but would need a photo of the collector to be sure, this is were most good fakes can be identified as they don't quite have the right shape . Ask him for a photo of the collector close up.

seen loads of fakes and real ones and that looks real to me the finish is good and the colour is a gold tint to it which the genuine ones have.

Except for the dint where it has been dropped, the flange looks pretty OE RS2.

I'd say real.

I'd say real, however the top wastegate stud in the pictures looks offset. It may just be the angle on the photo, however this is one area where the fakes can easily be spotted. See if you can get a shot of the wastegate from above with the nuts removed to be sure.They should all be central. The collector looks OE.

Agree the back stud looks a little to the left

I'd say real (or very good!) The small dint is in the gasket that he's fitted to show that it fits, there's also a pic without gasket.
