Apparently she was also doing it to the next door neighbours today too - yes.

As i say was only made aware of it by a friendly neighbour who saw her filming...

Get a framed picture of your car and present her with it as a "Welcome to the neighbourhood gift"! Say, "I understand you have been admiring my car. Are you an Audi enthausiast as well?"

Argh it's a pet hate of mine... like the neighbours that have no problems parking in front of the house despite having an empty drive all the time, yet they go nuts if you park on their road outside their house

I just go by first there can park where they like, and give some courtesy. Sometimes it's fun to wind 'em up though

Might be worth having a quick chat, it's amazing how people can back down when approached in a polite, friendly manner. Just comment that you were a little unnerved by them video'ing your cars, and wondered if there was a problem. I've asked a neighbour if my parking was an issue before and they were alot friendlier after that!

I knew someone who lived in a similar situation and one neighbour complained everytime he started his UR up let alone drive it!

spot on Ross...we tried the gentle approach and it failed...when we enquired after 3 weeks if they had considered moving their car onto their drive, they called the Police/PCSO and to our amusement, *they* were told to move their car and be more considerate to others in the close

Ross is right. Some people are reasonable, some are not. Only one way to find out.
One of my parents neighbours complained about being woken up at night by someone shining a 1000W searchlight into his bedroom from my parents bathroom. The light in the bathroom was a 40W pearl spot! So I waited till he went to sleep the following night, turned the light on and woke him up! No Xmas card from him either!

Well there is you answer! She is trying to make a point about the double standard of you and your neighbour doing something she has been told off about! Case solved!

Yea pop round and ask whats the dealio with the camera (Wait till she's just put dinner on the table before you ring the bell. she'll like that) shes too chicken to knock your door and sort it out properly so like Ross said she ought to spit it out you when you appear on her doorstep wanting answers.

Or, tell her to go and **** herself with a fish fork?

No lawyer my friend but weirdly this was a topic on the radio this morn!! Apparently it is inadmissible as evidence if filmed from a private property onto a public road or area. Hence the reason the cops seem uninstreded in progressing such complaints "but I've videos them!". It's not unlawful tho to film anyone..... Just annoying! I personally don't like to exist anywhere!

In all seriousness you dont want to fall out with them, if you do you have to declare it when you sell your house, if you dont and the future owner realise there was an on going dispute you failed to declare they have a case for losses, demonstrating what that loss is is an entirely different matter though.

What you dont want is the potential future home owner to use the information to chip the price at the point of exchange when you are vulnerable having set your heart on your new home.. It happens believe me i have seen it many times having been responsible for the handing over of nearly 2000 homes a year.... in fact you wouldn't believe what goes on... money is funny stuff....
