It has come to my attention that what happened to me back in 2005 has happened to far too many people now across the country.

I don't want to appear to be telling stories but I feel very strongly that the tactics he has been using should now be made public and should stop!!!

pretty pathetic defense on that forum that he attempted to make.

Seems that for many, the lure of cash from enthusiasts is enough to not play by the rules. Kind of why i picked up spanners myself in the end, de-risks the scammers and makes your £ go further.

Sad isn't it, especially for those people compromised and out of pocket from people like that and we had our own resident one here

These people must loose site of the bigger picture, take the fast buck not realising there business/reputation is then compromised.

I don't think these types start out bad, something turns them along the way.

What a sad tale. I've never heard of the guy before reading this.

I don't get how or why an enthusiast and supposedly skilled technician would treat his customers and friends in the manner described in great detail within the thread Tonk's linked to in his first post.

I guess he must have some gravely serious personal problems, not that is any defence for his alleged behaviour.
