See, that's the thing with cars :(

You give them some love and they betray you

The sun came out at lunchtime so I went to open the sunroof, went back about 2 inches and stuck, wouldn';t go either way, tried by hand, no way. Took motor out still jammed, managed to get the inside cover slid back and got a torkx bit on the bolts, got the panel off the car, side bars that hold the panel are both broken, cable is jammed solid in the tube on one side.. So the bloody thing is going to have to come out again

Also I got dirty finger marks on my new headlining

Mate I feel for you. I think they like to try to p155 us off sometimes. Since fixing my sunroof and the leak I dont touch it. Leave it well closed. Hope you get it sorted soon.

I won't even slide my sunroof back anymore.....the headlining is starting to sag and don't fancy messing around with it until I get it repainted in the future in case something decides to pack up...especially with our summer weather!...

With 630 injectors and a 7A FPR it probably equates to about 25MPG! I can pretend though..

That thing should have been welded from factory. My both c4 platform cars have the sunroof button and interior light plastic holder hanging in the car because clips are broken.
Last winter i got one of them started and did not get the snow of the roof. That car had some thing that from time to time without intervention it opened the sunroof on the up position. That car has the button rotary tipe not click as the other.Guess what?I tried to turn a little the button and it closed and slided all the way back.1 cubic m of snow was in my car.Why would someone want sunroof? If you smoke the smoke is not going upwards. If it is hot you get the ac on and you do not want sun to get into your head.If you need fresh air at speeds you can open the window(theese cars have a good aerodinamic and you can open window)
