Angus poly bushes are a big improvement over stock items. I also just moved from H&Rs and konis to KW V1s and the handling is much better, less wallowy and squidgy on turn-in. As a bonus the ride is better too!

EDIT: A good way to improve a mcstrut is to run more castor angle which combats the dynamic camber change - difficult on our chassis though! Reducing compression with stiffer springs and adding more static camber are easier... but they will never be as good a multi-link or double wishbone

Its more of a budget build.
Although I already bought a wagner exhaust manifold and aronmatics rods.
I intend to do as much as i can myself, and my evo mate owes me a few favours which will help as he's an auto electrician with a great history of building cheapish reliable rally cars.
Thanks for all the great tips and advice so far

it really does hinge on what rocks your boat... Or if you're going to be driven by regulation for events...

if you want lap times, go for the dynamics, followed by the brakes and then the dynamics... Power is low on the list of priorities...

However,if its laughs per lap, then go for as much power as possible with as compliant a set-up as possible... But don't expect to set the time sheets alight...

As it happens there not as strengent over here for "regulations". for example the tracks my friend uses have no noise restrictions, and the marshalls are the same old guys you see at almost every track event.
Im sure if i went to mondello or any other big/reputable track event in northern ireland things would be very different
The way i see it is strip it down to the minimum needed to get it legit, and have a blast.
Maybe down the road try and improve geometery of the chassis and suspension etc.
For now i just want to entertain myself with something a bit less normal
