yes b5 front seats fit in b3/b4 buy swapping the frames over. circlips and pins. doable easy 30mins per seat

Yup, have a look at my 1.8T thread... I fitted B5 S4 rears to my B3 80 sport. Requires dropping the fuel tank a bit but that's a s complicated as it gets!

my s4 rear seats were none folding type, fit with just a bit of tinkering

MkIII Golf Recaros work well - I had mine retrimmed in quattro script cloth from Audi Tradition. They will go straight in but bending one of the legs will make them fit better

Out of interest, how much cloth did you end up using to do the seats mate?

It comes in 1420mm x 420mm lengths so I ordered two - it came in one roll. That was enough to do the front seats
