Then i bought new discs and some Koni coilovers, 968 torsion bars and other things i dont remember.



The coilys were a good thing to buy, different car with them fitted, they are MO30 option porsche.


The engine 2.5 4 cyl 170hp - but car looks faster - i hate that, my cars are usualy faster than they look..
I had thoughts of audi 10v power - but got scared and ran away after a good mesure up in my mates store




I could not think of a way to get som hp, a turbo engine on pallet costs £1400-2000 depending on loom/ecu and history , i even considerd a charger.

We played games while i thought about bhp.

I took it to Poland and other Euro jaunts, it just showed how a maintained car is reliable, despite 26 yrs of age and a bad rep.



Of course I'm awake honey..




When i had the "vision" it had a cage. so i got one, a rear section from a works 924.





All cleaned up





Suspension was dropped down, brakes painted, cage in, not washed it looked hard as nails, a real sheep in wolfs clothing.

Yeh, so the 2.5 8v in the car has the same block and head as the turbo.
I have a light early car, no ABS ect, turbo driveshafts, a CR n/a gearbox and lots of time..

Low comp pistons, bosch 803 greens ect.. never got a pic of the rods.






Front is stripped, bumper/bonnet/valance/badge pannel and manifolds & ancilarys are removed.

Patience builds a good car, i have a very very bad temper and go through project cars like no tomorrow lol!

lots of things get broken, my A4 has a BIG dint in the n/s/f wing when i pulled the 5 pot out, it pulled the washer pump out and dumped stinky fishy water all over me.... i punched the wing so hard it was flat, popped it out but i have ****ed it right up sadly, oh well RS4 ones it is then!

Yeh being a ging i have a bit of temper, my mk2 golf kept spitting its oil filter seal and dumping its oil, i stupidly smashed all the panels and glass at the side of the road
Im nr where the mk meet is in Milton keynes bucks.

This is a turbo S clutch kit- (only 700 miles old from a mate)


I need the clutch to take the extra hp , the new fork is wider to fit over the bigger relese bearing. The flywheel is larger in diameter than the N/a this is needed for the bigger clutch. Also there are more timing teeth, so this is needed to use turbo managment and the bell housing is larger also.

Engine back in and being built up, the head isnt bolted yet (waiting for gasget) just laid on to cover the block.

Boost gauge fitted, took me a while to decide where to put it..


Porsche tuners want £60+ for a 3.0 bar FPR.
£15 from a bmw.







The 3.0 bar fpr and uprated BOV are needed for the next stage of tune.
here its a stock 944 turbo with loom, ECU, AFM ect.. and will be making early 944 turbo power. (220hp)

Next-

The cycle valve (boost protection) is removed and it now has manual boost controll, It at this stage had a Linsey racing
Stage 2 kit-

Chips, FPR, air filter, boost control, boost set at 1.2 bar and it should be making around 290hp on the k26/6.

If I remember correctly, the rear 944 trans axel is a 01E, like the S2s, UrS4/6 and RS2 (minus the output to the rear)

It is, i did wonder if the 968 6 speed is just an ABY box.

You would be amazed how many parts are shared between 944 and 80.

Here you will see that i chopped out the bumper to get some air in the cooler, as i didnt want to use a turbo front end, i like the oldschool look,
