Who are the keepers?

Im impressed at the length of S2 ownership by some forum members and the time and effort and not to mention money that has been put in

So who really are the keepers the people that really will never part with there s2 ..

well, not an S2 but ive owned my audi A4 for 7 or 8 years, bought it as a 2.5tdi, screen price was £6000 if i remember rightly lol

i must have owned 2 cosworths, various Audis, B2 CD, B4`s and A4`s, skylines and a 911! oh and the 2 URs4`s, too many to remember lol

darent think how much cash ive blown on cars in the last 10-15 years........... both cosworths were easy £20k+ builds, then theres the rest,

good old Kaiser, always been there and i dont think id ever sell him

few months into ownership, brand new wheels, Coilovers and regular polishes!

Bought mine in 2005 and not ever considering selling it. Hopefully taxation wont become more unbearable than what it is now

I will never part with my 2S's.
The black one I got it in 2008, and it's going through a full restoration progress. Engine included. It had 220.000 km when I bought it.

The gray one had only 108.000 km when I bought it in 2010 (that is the reason I bought it because of the low mileage) and it only received some upgrades to the brakes, suspension, new wheels, etc....

I was but I had to pass her on to someone who would use her...

1995 til 2012

It's not just a matter of keepers...

You need to be able to use them, and I just couldn't keep 4 cars running at once, so the S2 went.....

Do I Regret It - YES until I go and put £30.00 of fuel in the MK2 and I know it would have been £90.00 in the S2 to do the same mileage...

I want another, but an RS2 or UR but just cant afford one... As I would only end up in the same situation...

As far as I know there are only around five S2's in the country, never be letting this one go

We have an absurd rule that won't allow an import of vehicles built post 1989 unless you have owned it in the country of origin for at least 12months

12yrs the s6 and no problems.10yrs s2,and loads of problems,but I think they are all fixed now,thanks to this fourm
