On the note of fake... I can't stand fake immitation BBS rims or the like. Makes the originals look generic like every other gash rims out there. Rant coming from a rim whore

The funny thing is, if you put an S2 badge on a Golf with S2 running gear it would still be a sleeper, because of the all the badge abuse.

I must admit when I had all the RS2 gear for the S2 to make it a kind of RS2 Coupé, I did buy a couple of RS2 badges for it, when I found the S2 badge didn't fit the RS2 grille.
But I couldn't bring myself to do fit them. I cut the S2 badge instead, even though it was about 3x the price of an RS2 badge.

@ AndyP - That is funny.

A friend of mine who worked in parts for MB gave me an 'Elegance' badge, after I complained my Konis were too soft. No. I didn't fit it.

We have an UrS6 with a 1.9 tdi badge here.
Traps 200+ mph on 1 mile too.

            Pretty funny stuff.

                    I think you mean Nürburgring

And yes.. you should only have a sticker on your car if you and your car have been round the Nordschleife.

Yes. That is an unforgivable crime. I currently have 5 cars with Ring stickers on them, and they have all been around the Nordschleife.
People probably look at the Lupo with the combo of TDI badge and Ring sticker and think it's just another 'Neverbeen'. But they'd be wrong.

If you see someone with a Ring sticker, just ask them what their best BTG is. If they look confused, just leave it.

I think this by far the worst case of 'fake badge syndrome'
Seen this badge on just about anything and everything !
For what this cost me so far I could have bought an S2
