    over the internet? lol!
Well do you think faking an ID is that easy? I for one if wouldn't know how to do it.
You can check the guy on facebook, check his name on google for scams, check everything. Google is a great tool.
I know most of you think he's fake but seriously I find it hard to believe that a guy in Africa wants to con somebody for some quattro parts. That is why I think he's genuine. He would be better on ebay gumtree craigslist buying some electronics or something he could trade for cash easily.

            Ask yourself questions like;

Why does a guy in Africa want all my parts?

Does it seem too good to be true that you can get rid of your stuff for a good price

We all know clouds don't have silver linings. It could be legit but I would bet my last dollar that it isn't. Avoid like the plague.

Worst deals i've done are all with Germans, who would expect that!

One German registered company sold me an engine telling me: Used means we do not know the background, so the risk is for you... well a bit strange that i find scrapnel in the sump which clearly had been openend prior to me buying it.

Another refused to send me the crank i won through the Bay for less that scrap metal prices, telling me he had problems shipping it, eventually even lost the Ebay dispute with him after he refunded me the shipping price we agreed...

I can continu this list, me into foreign territory to fetch "genuine" RS2 parts, once there i could only spot glassfiber bumpers etc... Hausmacher in stead of ABS!

I can't say i hate Germans now because of these memories.

Maybe you have had a sheltered life, you would be gobsmacked how easy it is to set up verifiable fake ID's that withstand quite rigorous security checks. The banks get scammed all the time and they spend millions on trying to avoid it

Hold on to your parts for now fella a more trusted buyer will come along soon enough

hope it goes well mate,If i were you I would make sure you have a chat with him on the phone(if you havn't already),I would have thought you can then make a final decision

I would have thought western union would actually be your safest bet on this one,at least you can walk away from the shop with cash in hand, which is what scammers do the other way around.

i spoke to him on the phone when he first made contact, he seem to be genuine , but then so did a hoax airline pilot that was going to buy my car a few years ago, wanted bank details , he even looked up a local travel lodge saying he would stay there over night, i told him to bring the money and we go to bank togather , never heard from him again

Someone with a business buying or selling from/to another country will know that you can not pay without knowing bank acount. There is even a code generated when an external payment is done and many companyes just need that code and send goods before money are seen.
WTF?Bank acount is writen even on invoices. So what?
And western union can be seen as throwing money on window by the buyer.
