Its a B202 Block so pre Trionic if you have the part numbers of any of the following, MAF, ECU ( even the colour of the label would do), FPR I have an XLs file which i made to list all the options.
Common issue can be the injectors being shorted to the Idle control valve as the USA cars differ to the euro ones and the Bentley is based on USA wiring ( which a lot of people use when rewiring).
If you are keeping the saab engine I have ECU's, MAF's and APC's and the bentley you can borrow. Getting codes is not going to be a goer but they are very simple to sort out.

Gearboxes are under the block and made out of plastacine which is marginaly better than chocolate.

Sorry forgot about the pedantic nature of the minority on here its LH2.2 so you can get the codes out but it takes 3 legs some resistors and a lot of retries as you try to remember the correct sequence of stab accelerator , dab brake twice, all whilst trying to jot down a long flash or short flash of a 2w bulb which may be on or off dependant on sunlight.

Someone of Retro Rides put an RX-8 engine in one. That went well and sounded amazing!

Ah, LH2.2, that means ignition advance is mechanical, and this thing only controls fueling.
            That ECU is extremely simple...

it did have a set of 4 injectors in a box in the car with 2 different part numbers on them so that might also be an issue if the others are in the motor....

Just stick a set of 40s on it and be done with it.

A little update as I have had an hour to look at this today.

The engine is a foreign piece of ***** and is coming out!

It's still over fueling and now the crank seal has started leaking. I can't be bothered spending any more time with it so its getting a 5 pot 20vt on a fwd box.

So I put it on the ramp to have a look underneath.

                  O Dear!!!!

What a pile of rubbish! To think I actually drive this up and down the street. If I said it looks like something they have made on scrap heap challenge it would be unfair to the TV series.

So I am now in search of 6r4 chassis dimensions to make a full space frame.
I can then chop out the whole floor of the car and place it over the top of the space frame....

So I anyone has drawings or has got a mate with measurement etc. please let me know

I'll take some tomorrow in the daylight.

Even my 2 year old can make more impressive vehicular objects using stickle bricks!

The genuine 6r4 uses what looks like 50x50 box section. I can't find out what wall thickness or grade of steel they used.

Oh and Dimitri it is Trionic system and after having a chat with a few folks on the Saab forum apparently it's not good and as its an 84 engine it's not 100% ideal to use T5 on it so its all coming out

Sorry to hear its not as good as you would want it Brian. At last you can now make it properly the way it should be.
Incidentally have you measured the length of an I5 + gearbox? I was looking at it today and thought about this car - I think you might have to use the valve cover as an arm rest

There is plenty of room to fit it.
I can't remember the exact measurements but an i5 from front of crank pulley to bell housing face is about 23"
And from bell housing face to centre of driveshaft is about 6"
Then there is 17" from centre of driveshaft to rear of box giving about 3" clearance inside rear bumper and about 5" from crank pulley to firewall
