I think my boost gauge is making a squooshing noise. It seems to happen if I come off the throttle slowly as low RPM, I've thought for ages that it was the sound of the DV but it actually happens quite loudly as the gauge drops from 0 to -0.5Bar so in vacuum. No noise on boost though so not a "normal" kind of a leak. Weird
If I put my hand over the gauge (which is in the centre vent) the noise definitely get quieter.
I remember Bo had a strange noise from his dashboard, when switching from boost to vacuum. But I can't remember what the cause was in the end. I had a feeling it was something to do with the AC recirc actuator.
It's definitely the boost gauge, I removed it and capped the pipe and it's silent, can't believe I've been attributing this noise to the DV all this time Kept thinking there must be a hole somewhere in the bulkhead letting the noise through!
I had one of those no-buzz T pieces somewhere but cant find it, I'll get another one ordered and see if it fixes it.
