Thanks Alex, im rather proud of them. They still look as good as thae day the photo was taken 2 and bit years ago as I have hardly used them as im a bit worried about damaging them lol. Mind you after the paint and work the car has had recently, they will be back on for next summer

In my honest opinion, I would say that anyone who wants an S2 should buy either 3B or ABY as they are both so rare these days that it doesnt matter... Just buy one and enjoy it

WOW, they look awesome Chris! I've got a pretty tidy original set with minimal lacquer peel but they look tired compared to those. Thing is I'd be the same as you and not want to use them for fear of damage.

Thanks guys, appreciate the kind words. I used them for 8 months the year I got them refurb end and then took them off for the winter. I then put them back on for a few months the following spring then took them off due to tyre wear and haven't refitted them since due to not replacing the tyres. I will do this coming spring though as they will make my car look awesome with all the other work it's had. Shame they aren't bigger is all haha

Oh and they really do still look this mint as I took them off every two weeks to wash them all over, and washed them every other week whilst they were on the car. They have not been curbed and I have them wrapped and stored in the loft lol. (Bit **** about these as they are lovely!)

As I've got a 3B FW on my ABY, does that mean the collars and cuffs don't match

Get the best car you can, the rest can pretty much be changed and you'll end up upgrading half of it anyway, as this place is a bank manager's nightmare

Hahaha, no Rocco... I think the missus would kill me if I still have them in the loft in 10 years time. These will be back on the car for the summer next year

Where did you get those 3B rims refurbed mate? Also was is mega bucks? One doesn't often see them done with the diamond cutting as tidy as OE and it's encouraging to hear the finish is still good after a couple of years and road use.

I had them done by the following company http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/ BJV. I know the guys so it was £200 cash for them but I think it would only be about £250 - £300 anyway. They diamond cut them and laquer them as well as doing the inset bits and the backs of the wheels in any colour I chose (Graphite).

One wheel went yellow so they redid it for free but they have all stood up to time and are still minto. Well worth using them for wheel refurbs. Will get a pic up of the BBS wheels they did for my brother so you can see the quality. They are based just outside Bovingdon in Hertfordshire.
