Interesting reading all this, but any one have a rough idea at todays prices of a black RS2 Recaro leather interior.
Front/back seats and four door cards : ).
Also whats preferred more half alcantara or full leather ??

I'd say you probably wont find anything for less than 1500euros. Especially if it is with the latest dual airbag it may be even more.
Audi tradition have about 750€ per doorcard by the way.
Sorry about wrecking your thread mate. I would say going on the prices i have seen anywhere betwe en 750-1500 pounds. Depending on who is Selling and condition, and if it is only seats and doorcards or if its the full monty. UrS4Guy, the one tom posted is exactly the same as the one i knew about. Trying to find current owner for pics. However, when i look at the pics here, it almost looks as if the bottom side bolsters on the beige seats are not identical to the "proper" RS2 seats, maybe because i am on my phone though.
When was that green rs2 at Tots? Looks remarkably similar! But not quite. So maybe more than just one.
Here are some photos of the car. I have texted the guy and hope I get a reply with a photo of what is needed to make sure its an original rs2. I'm pretty sure it is as it was recently being sold as one. If he has managed to fool everyone, that's another story.
The bottom front door cards have been dressed by himself as he has a stereo system installed and modded the car a lot but the seats and leather inserts on the doors are original
Was going to post about that car, does Nick still own it?
He was a member on here back in the day.
Earlier this year I bought a full RS2 black leather front and rear seats, including doorcards, with carbon, in good condition. I payed give or take £800 collected...

And just to conclude on this, unfortunately he doesn't have the car any more as he sold it to Dahlback. He did confirm it was original though. So only Dahlback can tell us now.

UrS4Guy is the fellow with the Green Monstah build thread and is not involved in this thread. I am UrS4boy and I am involved. I am an C4 UrS4/S6, S2 and RS2 trivia hunter and am hoping that someone will be able to post a build tag from a RS2 with the beige interior.

I was going to say that based on the photo below and all the mods that are showing, e.g. door cards and the shifter gaiter/boot (in beige), I don't think it is an example of factory work. Hope to see a build tag from one of these beige unicorns.

I hope you don't expect me to pick up the phone and call Dahlback. I have better things to do and + I'm not the crusader of audi rs2 trivia. I don't even own one.
If you want to persue this further be my guest. I went as far as texting someone I have spoken 3 times in my life and he was kind enough to reply after 5 years of no contact. I am grateful he responded at all!
Yes, it was. I am of the belief that any cars built under the Porsche roof could be ordered any way you wished as long as you had the money. Sonderwunsch. Ecru Seats....sure. Red/silver/blue stripes on your blue Alcantara seat.....sign here please.

Dave.....Sorry if i did'nt jump in here before......
Here I am though
I quote Tom feedbacks on the "As long as you pay you can have it in pink" issue.
There are definetely some weird RS2s around both in exterior colours (think about the Porsche Gran Prix white cars for example) and interior combo, one good example in this case it's the coloured alcantara stripes that Tom has.
That said.
The photos posted by Tom of the beige one it's definetely an RS2 in the flesh, I don't need any VIN tag picture, I can see that by myself and further more if Tobias/Tots says that it's an RS2 then by knowing him and our Tom/Saltinot I take that as granted, also because Tobias would'nt even look at the car if it was'nt a real one.....
The one posted by Vasilis it's a different story IMHO (please note that it's my humble and personal opinion)
The car does'nt look like an original RS2 to me.
I never seen beige carpets and beige plastic trims on the doors surrounds on an RS2
The headrest on the Recaros has a chrome trim wich if it's perhaps common on other Audis I never saw on an RS2 in fact it's missed on the one posted by Tom.
But more then that, the car has wooden trim (which of course some RS2 have) but the layout of the dashboard it's of a 1994 car without airbags and in fact there's no airbag at least as far as I can see on the passenger side, but the door cards are from an airbags fitted car and you can see that from the achtung notice on the inside of the part, more the cards could be original RS2s because the black handles.
The wheel it's not an Audi one, not the four spoke/casserole one from 1994 early cars nor the three spoke later one, the gearknob it's not RS2 neither....
Those details are usually retained by owners for their exsclusivity (at the time and still for the gearknob) and to bin an RS2 gearknob to have a beige one like that, could be naive or bad taste (please I mean no offense!)
Then perhaps the car has a WAUC VIN and then I'm completely wrong on this of course.
Few words on the prove this and prove that.....
Dave I do owned my RS2 since 1997, I've seen many of them including the saloon one in Audi Tradition depo, If I state something on the RS2 pretty much I do hit the target because pretty much I can check live before shooting, even then sometimes I've been corrected in this forum, no need to say that to be corrected by somebody it's a sweet n sour feeling but eventually I always choose the sweet part because I learned something from somebody, this approch probably (I hope so) had built some very nice confrontation with very nice people.
I will never put myself into a discussion with you for example on the S4/S6 for obvious reasons don't you think?
After several years in this forum I also learned to recognize the nicknames of the regular guys, and I take them very seriuosly when it come down to many issues particularly when it comes to mechanics and electronics where I'm thick as brick to say the least.
I would take it easy or think twice before going into a rude approch with the regulars in here....
If you could have say something like:
Interesting I never heard of beige/travertine interiors on RS2s can we dig dipper into this because I'm keen or fond to know about.
The discussion would have been perhaps more relaxed?
eventually would have brought has to the same conclusions with the plus of a common esteem and so to get this fantastic forum even better in terms of people relationships, rather then coddle your self esteem for the umpteenth time.
I hope no one would get offended on my considerations or my words, please keep in mind that english it's still a foreign language for me.
