How to blank off / bypass oil cooler?

The oil cooler and pipes on the Avant are trashed and I need to blank it off or just connect the send and return with a pipe so I can start the engine.

Any ideas? One of the pipes might work with a bit of twisting but I cannot get the adapter off the cooler end, it's totally seized.

I guess I could saw the two engine ends of the pipes off and beat them flat with a hammer?

Fit a 7a non cooler oil filter housing, thats what i did

Colesy is breaking a 7a engine, maby he can help if you need a piccie

Hi newsh mines just one of the cooler pipes with a u bend think it's same fitment on the pipes? I've had it like that for moving it around my friends garage for past two years been fine so far
