Where we at with parts?

I have a set of pistons but some are damaged as they came out of the engine that digested sand. A few might be useful if needed to complete a set.

I have original boost/coolant hoses in a box somewhere that came off when the samco's were fitted.

Also a set of coils, 1 of which doesn't work but again might be useful to completing a set of 5.

I think all of the above are required still - Will at VRS is still looking for his complete coil pack but if yours is altogether then sweet.

How do you want get parts up to me? There's no rush but just thinking ahead are you going to GTI this w/e?

My coils are together, but one definitely doesn't work. Not sure how easy it is to replace one, but i went with replacing the entire thing.

Not planning to be at GTI, but can make other arrangements.

Do you want the pistons also? As mentioned, somebody who knows what they're talking about would need to look at them. JP thought a couple may be usable, but no promises

By the way am I right in thinking your S2 is at Will's at the mo?

She's being well looked after, but I wish she'd stop ordering extra treatments

Well Mr TONKS is Master Mechanic so I am sure he will be best to make assessment.

(I like the side exhaust - cars and their knack of wanting more)

Hey Guys,

Once again, many thanks to those folks who have kindly helped out thus far.

We met up last night and have compiled an updated list thus far - Brian will be posting later today.

If any members are still considering contributing, please shout up. If you are concerned about carriage/post costs, please note that Nic is/has been paying for carriage/petrol costs, etc. Alternatively, I'm Leicester and am travelling to collect parts - just PM, etc.
