144 rods, 20mm pin diameter and pistons are the same as the 2.5, same as 3a 4 cyl, with deep dish 10v kjet.

same parts as the 7A or NG.... may be diff deck 222 and the 7A and NG ( 82,5 bore) ,are 220 ish ( 220,35 ??) if you use the flat piston from those, you will gain some more pover, an less fuel comsumtion... the 20v head will fit, but you need all the stuff like IM and EM and injektors++++

VAG leggo is quite complicated stuff with all these little variations, looks like VWSA robbed from many different parts bins.
        AAY 2.5 92.8mm Crank.
        They used:
        NG block 220mm deck.
        3A pistons.
        7A 144 rods.
        Rare 92.8mm crank.
        WR steel sump.
        KV cyl head.
        KV manifolds.

        ADV 2.6 95.5mm Crank.
        They used:
        Block 222mm deck???
        3A pistons.
        7A 144 rods.
        95.5mm diesel crank.
        WR steel sump.
        NG cyl head.
        NG manifolds.

Interesting stuff. Would the SA 2.6 combination make for a good turbo engine using 7a cyl head and 6a/9a pistons?

if you use the steel sheet metal gasgeds...( reinz), but you dont have more than 7500 rpm... thats not the BEST combo, but it will work...
