ADI - Thank Yous

Just like to say a big thanks to Greg_S, RJ Scotty, Costash, RustyNut and especially S2central.net and Andy G Plym for their help today. Great day out with a few issues on the Alpinweiss that I got resolved enough to get out on track and a tyre swap in the sun before the afternoon. Hope I've not missed anyone off there.

The forum spirit was very much present at ADI this year, along with another superb turnout: great to see faces old and new and get some track action. There will be a couple of RS4 owners scratching their heads on the way home

Once again, thanks to all for a great day and one that's reminded me why I love the S2 and the community that we all contribute to

Cheers Andy, glad I never got round to emptying the back of my car out, what are the chances somebody was carrying a boost leak kit, lambda probe, spark plug socket etc etc lol!

Thoroughly enjoyed today, and it's days like today where you see so many nice s2's that get you motivated again!

It was discussed at the AGM today. We need to consider how to include everyone, so we'll put our heads together and see where we get. Ideas obviously appreciated. Track based fun obviously gives the best opportunity for owners to use their cars, so I think that track time in some form will be considered for major events.

There are plenty of open pit lane days at circuits all over the UK. I recon we should try to get to a few of them as a forum. With a few cars and passenger rides it would be a lot of fun. Plenty of tools and willing mechanics required too

Agree, would be great to get a strong calendar of events together and a few track days. Would be good to nominate one event as a family orientated event too which we can get a good turnout for, maybe that is Audi's in the Park but given lots of us have kids and long suffering wives/partners etc then would be great to make it more inclusive. We need the specially modified BBQ to support that I think

Great day out certainly. Really impressed by turn out of S2 owners in all their glory and meet a good number of folk.
Some cars are annoyingly clean and perfect. Some are ridiculously fast. Some are both. Says a lot about this place !
