Re
Hi guys
Just spied this post on a Google search and good you have discovered the mag.
To put minds at ease its owned by me and I own another magazine that I have published for 5 years. I have owned an events company for 15 years. My other mag is supported by Eibach Tarox Bilstein KW suspensions Adrian flux ITG filters EBC brakes HIC insurance STP Toyo Tyres Renault Scorpion Miltek to name a few. Adrian Flux insurance this year celebrate 15 years of sponsoring me. I see they are your official insurance scheme.
I exhibit my other title at Autosport every year and launched AudiTuner on Thursday at the show on its own 30m2 stand.
The magazine has received £20,000 Newstand investment with another £12,000 retail promotion in February.
Total Audi was owned by David Corfield a penniless individual with I believe had best of intentions but wasn't on Newstand it was just a 50-60 page mag printed at a local printers. It wasn't ever a real mag.
I have invested in this title and there is a significant market for it. It has 116 pages is printed on high quality paper and professionally designed by experienced magazine designers.
To the contributor who says a mag needs 10,000 sales in print this is completely untrue and most niche titles on Newstand sell much less than this.
The editor is long established Davy Lewis and we have massive industry support.
My background is clubs and I was the chairman of Peugeot Gti club for 9 years and currently own a new S5 and Q3.
In respect of cheque book cars yes big builds for cover to grab attention in retail but we want to cover all elements of the market.
It's 12 issues a year and subscribers have heavily discounted rate just now.
As it happens we are printed by Warners PLC who have delivered to Newstand and Autosport but they have had a wobble on subs due to xmas backlog and they were posted by them too late last week which was their fault and out of our control.
We are distributed by Conde Nast - Comag the globes biggest magazine distributor but we are a small team and small company.
Thanks

Mark, I wish you well with the new mag.
Whilst the information and credentials all help, if I was one of the people who had signed up in good faith only to see it first on the shelf in WH Smith, I would have been expecting to see some form of apology, even if one of your suppliers had struggled due to influx over the festive period.

I met these guys at Autosport on Friday and must say I've got nothing but praise for what they've done so far.
I worked for the Porsche club for years doing their club mag and then moved on to be heavily involved in Total 911 porsche mag (before it was even launched) of which I stayed with for several years. Starting a magazine from scratch is an absolute knightmare, as you can imagine the initial outlay is ridiculas - getting things rolling like advertising support (and obviously revenue), strong features & design, the right distibution etc takes some real doing.
There will always be a few minor blunders to start with but I genuinely wish these guys well. It's obvious from what they've achieved so far they're passionate about the product and there's certainly no shortage of (old & new) Audi's out there just waiting to be written about.
I must admit, it was an idea I've spoken about on many an occasion but just never got round to actually doing it!! Good luck with it gents, certainly looking good so far!!

re
thanks for the support guys
we did apologise as soon as we knew and publicly apologised keeping subscribers informed. I only knew by Facebook message as I was at the NEC Birmingham 319 miles from home.
As far as emailing subscribers this was impossible as we were all at Autosport for 6 days (set up show and break down) and thats me just arrived back to the office now.
Warners today have discovered they have simply just NOT posted subscribers despite us sending database on 31/12 and update on 09/01/2015. They will be enclosing an apology.
Don't swear at me but I own Performance French Cars and never in five years have they done this.
Sorry againComment

I to spoke to these guys yesterday at the Autosport show and walked away with a copy of their magazine full of intrigue. It isn't all just new stuff and after speaking to one of the writers, tall fella didn't catch his name, it does seem to be the gap that has existed in the market for modified Audi's could be getting filled.
Surely we've all noticed all other marquees being "represented" on the shelf/on line etc and its great to see someone has picked up the torch that is performance/modified/custom Audi's and brought them to the wider public. Don't get me wrong PVW has flown the flag on occasions along with certain other publications but I feel its grand to give support to an up and coming potential source of information etc.
Good Luck to you all in this venture.
Mark, sweet Megane on your "other" stand!
