As title, anyone know of any Films or programs showing Ur or S2? (Other than the obvious Ashes to Ashes, and Wheeler Dealers).
I'm not back in work 'til Friday, and if I've got to watch any more of the Wife's Emmerdale/Coronation St/Eastenders............
Excellent- enjoyed that inspired bit of salesmanship from old Bob...
yeah Ronin is a good film... I didn't get manage an M5...but the first time I saw that film I went out the next day and got myself a (much humbler) E34 Beemer..a 520 24v model, tho' underpowered, it was a lovely motor...
They probably have used more than one car to shoot all the chasing scenes considering the aggressive driving style and the wreckage generated by it and you can see in some scenes that the cars have either been repaired or replaced (grills are different, headlamps fall out of the car but are there later on etc). On the actual driving footage from the movie stunts (I've bought the collector's edition DVD that has these extras in) I think they were saying it was a 2.8 quattro with a faked V8 engine sound.
