I keep on getting the urge to sell the S2. I keep talking my self out of it but I've got an enormous niggling urge to buy either a golf rallye or even more so a lancia delta intergrale. I have mentioned this to mates who just laugh at me. It's that or a proper glass out respray and look to get my car up to concourse ish condition....

Your going mental. Or save up and buy a mint S2 coupe and sell yours on. The correlation between the Cossy and URS6 is chalk and cheese. Cossies grow steel cheese holes galore like cheese grows mold.
How about keep your S2 and buy a nice 944s turbo.

Leave the body as it is and spend £2/3K on RS2+ set up and brakes etc.
I've just put mine back on the OE 3B 16" wheels with nearly new 205/55 Goodyear Vector all season tyre's. The handling is much better on rougher roads, I can chuck the car about and find grip, a bit like in a MK2 on steroids.
I burnt 3/4's of a tank of V-power on Boxing day night blasting around unclassified roads, until I misjudged a corner and cracked my front bumper, I went home then.
Most fun I've had clothed or otherwise for sometime.1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.

My s2 is near mint that's the thing. To sell it feels like shooting your faithful old dog. As for 944 not really my cup of tea. Plus they do like to rust, a lot. I may satisfy myself with a full re spray. ( I may re phrase that last sentence)Comment
