Your not mad I get the same erg sometimes. Mine still dose not get used anywhere near as often as id like but that's life/work commitments for you. If I sold it would solve a few problems too.

      HOWEVER!

If I sold it I would have to replace it with something, i'ts in my nature as I'm sure it's in yours.

What I intend to do is commit to a lot more meets/trackdays etc. That feeling you get driving home from a decent meet makes everything in the world right

I just get an itch. I don't have the time money and space for another car. It does concern me that selling it would leave a void and finding amother as good would be hard. I do love the lancia though....

Lancia are great on paper but delicate compared to the s2 and they have thier moments, I had one years ago but I prefer driving my car to fixing it.

Get something cheap and buzzy to thrash about in. 172 Clio, golf 16v, that sort of thing. 95% of the fun for 10% of the price and you can work on your S2 while you've got it...

I've still got the little red lupo gti in my workshop which I'm doing some suspension work on. It's pretty nippy and I know what I'm doing and have the tools for vag stuff. Next time I move house a double ggarage is a must.

Lupo is 50+ bhp down on a 182 Megane 225s seem cheap now too. Or get an E30 BMW while they're still affordable...

                    I know it's not a powerful as Clio. There's always a 1.8t swap.

Integrate is a top car. Needs to be used or electrics becomes "Italian" very quickly. Easier to drive round corners than the RS2 but nowhere near as quick in a straight line. Maintenance is a doddle remembering the influence of the integrale word on prices and every bolt wants to shear. Oh and get a 16v engine as they are the real deal. Rust I hear you say? You betcha and it is manufactured in!

That's what concerns me. Potentially a less reliable rust bucket. I guess it's better the devil you know. I have addressed all common iissues n s2 at a lot of cost, and I don't begrudge it but to start again with lancia May be very expensive

Mate had one years ago before they went stupid on the prices. It was as brilliant as it was crap. Deffo not in the same league as the S2 power wise but boy oh boy did is handle well. You want the Evo II and that means selling a kidney as well as the S2. Stick with the 4 rings. Will not let you down, even if the handling and steering is a bit dull

If I could afford an evo I'd be a lucky man. That said if I had that kind of money to outlay I'd save some cash and hunt for a rs2. I guess that speaks volumes. As for suspension we can all rant about that for days.

I fancy something old with big carbs and a v8, but then I have too many cars as it is, am trying start a business and I have a mk2 Jag(well, old man does) that doesn't get driven unless I offer(and ill end up with that too one day)
But beware-as soon as the s2 drives away from you, you'll be straight on the net looking for a new one!

I might be forced into selling mine soon but I would never do it out of choice, just because I might be losing the garage space. Not sure there is much out there that could replace the thrust for buck it provides.
