There is most likely still air in the system. Pull the thank up, close the cap and bleed the radiator with raised idle = 2000rpm. Also remember to bleed the heater circulation from the top hose going throw the firewall and as said turn the heat fully on. BTDT many times...
Do not over tight the bleed bolt nor the plastic bleed screw in the upper hose...S2 Avant SleeperWagon 570hv and 765nm on 2,2bar/E85Comment

Cheers lads , tried it again today quickly. I took top hose off rad. And noticed it wasn't Fall of water. So poured abit in , reconnected hose. , lifted tank. Started the car and Put heater on hot I couldn't undo Bleed screw on heater pipe. Bleed again on top of the Rad still the same. I think it's an air lock. But I have ordered a thermostat. And I will flush system just For peace of mind And try again .Comment
