Bought mine Jan 1998 from main dealers part exd my 89 MB UR quattro and 10k, it had 34000 on the clock , still got the receipt!!😁😁

It will be 6 years in April, paid £3,500. Have the original purchase receipt somewhere for ~£34k. I did buy a URS4 a few years ago too (for £500) which I murdered...

It would appear that we have all spent a fair bit of money on our cars. I am in the same ballpark as Newsh. over £25 000 in twelve years. That's just over £2000 a year,
Less than average depreciation.
A fair amount of that was on modes, including all the RS2 bits Three remaps, rebuilt engine, and Porch brakes, and a complete engine rebuild.
I bet most of you have spent a fair amount on upgrading your cars. Which leaves normal running costs, such as tyres servicing and mot etc.
If you factor in the 0% depreciation for most of us, plus the modes. It would appear that our cars are not that much more to run than most other cars, that have been kept for the same amount of time.
You may not agree, But It would be good to hear your opinion.
