Either I'm completely loosing it or dreamt it but I can vaguely recall Andy10V mentioning nitrous, not sure if he had it fitted or not though, however I'm sure there's a couple of other members on here running it.

          Nitrous

Jamie my mates uncle own nitrous in doncaster I had a wet kit on golf 1.8t but it was killing my turbos I think by time I got kit controller bottle warmer I spent £1200+ running on 100bhp jets you can go more but I don't no how rods would cope on standard block

I fitted a wet nitrous setup for a giggle, start with small nozzles and get the AFR right, then increase the jet sizes.

A progressive controller would be best, especially if you are going to add a lot of power, I just had it on a switch (rear wiper) and only used it at WOT above 3000rpm as a safe guesstimate. T into the fuel feed line, fogger went into the TB hose.

Good fun, makes the car pull like mad! Obviously catastrophic if you get it wrong, "danger to the manifold style".

            Also drops IAT.

Its good fun if you can do it cheap, cost me £180 plus a bottle fill for a second hand kit, at £1200 I would just spend £1500 and RS2 it.

I need to get mine back, Martinws was trying it on his ABY 90 but it did not work well, I assume as a 3b is 3bar and aby is 4 bar it was mega rich.

Oh make sure you use colder grade spark plugs as well and your engine is healthy as it will damage things quite quick if not setup properly lol btdt
