Wasn't Audi Tradition created in direct response to the vocal frustrations and criticisms from enthusiasts the world over at Audi's abysmal support for classic cars when compared to Porsche, BMW and Mercedes?
They addressed the problem by creating a slow and unreliable e-commerce web site that offers parts at greatly inflated prices and some re-manufactured parts of inferior quality than the original items.
Then there's the parts that were readily available through the dealer network until Audi Tradition bought them all at heavily discounted prices to increase their inventory count and give customers the impression they have sourced items that are no longer available.
It's utterly perverse to think that they have actually made access to these parts more restrictive if anything.
Owning a classic Audi is difficult and frustrating enough.
