Cheer's guy's.
Keeping my cool was the hardest part, as Charlie and Tristan from here will attest to I have an extremely short fuse and really loose it as a rule. I was so angry I could barely speak let alone get across all the points I wanted to, if I'd started to say what I really wanted there would have been a fight.
I could have handled it a little better but that mechanic was obviously getting more and more defensive and I could feel combat chemicals being released in my brain so I had to walk when I did.
Charlie watched me jack the car up yesterday and undo the inner offside tie rod adjuster with my thumb and finger, it was when I mentioned that he became really aggressive.
Anyway, as you guys have pointed out no serious damage was done to me or the car and that's by far the most important thing. Also it happened once I'd driven all the best roads and was well on the way back so it didn't really affect my holiday other than an hour or so of stress.
In fact the accident on the M74 caused us more trouble.
I have a letter drafted that needs to be proof read by my mother who's a legal sectary before I send it and that outlines all my concerns, ie not using a torque wrench.
I'm also considering writing to Gwent police even though it's a civil matter as my vehicle was left in a dangerous state.
I'm intent on causing them as much hassle as possible.
