The last post from elmlody says it all like hammer on nails head. And always if the problem has appeared and you see topic with your nickname on and feel genuine about the sale you firstly answer, already its couple of days since first post.
Sorry but there is no way you can tell if an engine has run 5000 or 15000kms. Depending on the type of engine and what it was made for or how it has run you can have similar wear in much less km.
As many engine builders will tell you here, a race engine will wear out faster no matter what high end components you use. That's because it's used for race.
Rocco bought and used this engine for its purpose and then sold it on. His knowledge of the engine was until the last time he switched it off and if in that time the engine was running right, that is what he could advertise.
If the engine was sitting in a garage for a year it could have frozen solid. I would expect any mechanic with decent knowledge to expect that and warn you as a buyer of possible costs and inspections.
As for the lifters Rocco never opened the engine himself. He bought it, was told what was in it, ran it to 8000rpm as he was told was good for it, so you cannot blame the intermediate owner for something he never saw himself. He could have said 'assumed' mechanical lifters but then again he had no reason to doubt the original seller.
I won't lose more time discussing with this guy... This is not new, we were discussing in August or September and that's simple, I won't pay for fixing HIS engine.
Motorsport is an expensive hobby, and many factors affects and has to be taken in account. If you had bad luck, service it and and done. If you have no money, then I suggest you to put a standard engine with standard turbo.
PK motorsport told me " service it each 10K kilometers "
Including inspections, seals,gaskets, bearings,piston rings, valve guides,etc....
Will reply better once I have time, I'm very busy with work and the little baby. But for me is a case closed

- No mechanical glasses, only hydraulic and what the funny thing - with a welded hole ..
- The engine had driven well over 15 - 20 thousand kilometers - simply seen ... not as advertised 5000
- The destruction of the photos can not be done after driving 100km
and so forth:
There is nothing wrong with modifying hydro lifter to solid if it has been done correctly. We would need to see some detail about this.
Who is telling you this engine has covered 15k and not 5k and how can they tell this?
Try throwing a handful of metal swarf into your oil filler cap and see how long it lasts.
Panthero Coupé quattro 20vt
Indigo ABY coupé
Imola B6 S4 Avant
This does not change the fact that the engine is completely inconsistent with the description! :
- No mechanical glasses, only hydraulic and what the funny thing - with a welded hole ..
How would a hydro tappet work with a welded oil hole? Sounds like they are modified to solid.
Edit. Slow as usual...

This is the broken and smoking engine...which NEVER had a turbo failure, the 3076 worked awesomely nice
Can we know why the first time he fired up didn't smoke and why you broken your FIRST used 3071 AFTER 3000 kilometers you used it? " that's believing your comments "
Then later you bought a brand new one and lasted nothing... Believing you of course.
Then you comes here you ran it for 100 kilometers after 15 months....
Only the gods knows what the hell you guys did there...
I feel shame for my great engine. I should kept it...

I've been here many years, and as buyer and seller did hundreds of deals
And basically, everthing was fine always.
Sometimes I could delayed as seller sending parts but I always did what I must.
I'm happy to have dealed here,as buyer and seller .
I don't think I should go to any blacklist.
Only a really bad guy would sell a known damaged engine, taking good money for it... I'm not that kind of person
Probably the worst deal here was when I bought Nik0las forum member S2 car...in the distance. Was a good deal about price and parts there but when I received the car here, the car became in a B3 Coupe quattro, with S2 engine and unfortunately I couldn't register the car here.... So instead be unhappy and furious, I did some calculations and breaking that car was enough to take back the money paid.
And I'm still friendly with Nik0las... I prefer to have friends instead of not...
Be nice with the engine, get it serviced and make it like brand new. While that, use your other cars

By the way,as A80avant says, how the hell I could know about what's inside the engine... I just trusted what Sweeper forum member advertised and told me and I just follow his instructions.
So if worked fine, why to open it?
I didn't invent nothing, so when I advertised it, I just wrote what Sweeper did, plus I added my aprox mileage done.that's all

To confirm one thing in here: In earlier times, PK did his mechanical heads by modifying the hydraulic lifters, that is true. So there is no strange thing with those ones.
And- I also bought from Rocco. Nothing bad on my dealing with him, too. I bought used parts, and, what surprise- I got used parts.Like described.
Motorsport parts are always risky, motors with 270hp/liter are very risky, buying used is risky at its own.
As for the lifters Rocco never opened the engine himself. He bought it, was told what was in it, ran it to 8000rpm as he was told was good for it, so you cannot blame the intermediate owner for something he never saw himself. You have not seen the engine and its center (except pictures) - so I do not know what you're talking about...
As for the rest - perfectly summed up the knowledge Rocco on his sold part of ... one skipped - responsibility ... and for the words that have write and products that offer take-selling ... Maybe in Africa is different ..
For example - Read conditions of sale through Ebay and the responsibility associated with it .. the responsibility of the seller .... and what he did ROCCO - the introduction buyer confusion and sale of the engine which do not comply with the description.
Rocco - I'm glad to hear ... the first time since time immemorial
What is simple - you wrote that cashing out my 500euro because indeed you do not know what's inside ... Then not even wanted more pay me in 1000 if I did sell a car your buddy .... everything is in e-mails ...
Maybe for you case it is closed - for me certainly not.

How do I know that the engine of movies is the same engine ?? You wrote me that he had driven 5,000 thousand km? Why are you lying? And so on
I have witnesses who are users of this forum to confirm my facts. I am a man of honor and as you can see the e-mails all the time I was with you in constant contact.
I would recommend to read and understand all Rocco because you're wrong facts. I assumed the turbo engine, which was the previous engine driven 3000km - you have it in e-mails and PM ... Why mislead users ..
I trusted you, and now horribly regrets. You wanted to recover the money after torturing Engine 1: 1 ... you did great
It's nice that you're a super seller - I have no doubt here ... I would even say that you are very knowledgeable in 20VT
"Only a really bad guy would sell a known damaged engine, taking good money for it... I'm not that kind of person"
If this is so - let's settle it amicably ... I wrote you what I have to bear the costs ... I wanted to enjoy the engine by 3800 euros and threw money into ruin ..
I still want to settle the matter amicably ... stopped to speak despite your assurances ..., I had to raise to describe and put pictures only here ....and as you can see, although it worked... you speak , write...

Sell me this engine You didn't say ... You know what, I do not know what is inside ... so give announcement because told me someone else ... other seller... ???
Do you think you I would paid as much ... or anyone else on this forum ... buying a pig in a poke ??
By the way, because I'm leaving with my family - happy new year ... less unscrupulous traders! Who first they say one thing and then stop to speak ... I hope that Rocco once again rethink the matter and will want to get along.
When I mapped that thing ages ago - there was not any smoke, there was some blowby, but nothing too excessive. Considering the fact that this had bigger clearances then I am not surprised.
There were also no odd knocking noises. What happened since I have no idea.
