No boost

Hi I take all this on board but if a turbine shaft is broken you will have damage to turbo oil seals and oil either in the intake hoses or exhaust ,none of these , am using the car backwards and forwards to work about 12 mile round trip ,no issues only no boost going to take wastegate assembly and hot side of turbo off at the weekend I still think the wastegate is stuck open somehow

Just had the the output hose off the turbo and had the engine running turbine is spinning which rules out broken shaft because if it was then the exhaust gas would not spin the turbine blades am going for broken wastegate will keep you all informed. Derek

You can use the hints that I provided above to figure out if it is a broken wastegate without actually removing the wastegate.

This is an old thread I know,experiencing the same problem myself and running out of ideas fast...what was the cause in the end?
