I'm currently refurbing the rear subframe, hubs, driveshafts etc on my 7A quattro coupe and you won't be surprised to hear that I have destroyed the ABS sensors getting them out !!
I know I can use front sensors, splicing them in to the longer rear cables but I was wondering if any of the sensors from later Audi / VW cars will work.
I notice that the sensor 8D0927803 looks very similar with the exception of the connector. I think it's from early A4 and Passat models
Unfortunately I haven't found any info on dimensions or resistance values etc that will give me a view one way or the other.
Has anyone tried these or does anyone know for definite that they will or will not work ?
They are very cheap on ebay so if not I will get some and try them.
