Next get rid of those ridiculous celebrity introductions and cheering for who has the better cars where each one has to win and then lose a vote or vice versa, it's embarrassing.

And also make the rally car 4WD, it's painful to watch that Mini fail to scramble for any traction round the dirt section and hairpin, especially in the wet.

Great news, the show now stands a far better chance of success, agree the reasonably priced car needs to be 4x4 or perhaps RWD if their going to use a Rally Cross style circuit.

Have to say I thought tonight's new Top Gear wasn't bad at all quite liked it and original track back

Agreed, prefer the format without Chris Evans. Clearly they brought him in to be the controversial loud mouth Clarkson replacement - the celebrity interview was a bit wooden at first but they seemed to get a bit of natural flow as it went on, it'll be interesting to see how the dynamic matures.

I thought the change-up to the stripped out GT86 was welcome, and that they let the individuals bring their own strengths to the show rather that try and emulate any priors. It shows some hope in being a little more serious, holding it's own merits as a good car show worth watching, rather than trying to prove a point that it can still pull outrageous and pull the viewing figures of the Clarkson era.

I'll tune in again next week.

Didn't rate it tbh, deffo worse with Evans .. But IMO Le Blanc is still carrying the show.
