    Gotta cry ....

New door seals . Audi tradition , so not cheap. Landed today , removed side I needed done more, only to find that the new seal from AT has been made twisted

Can you believe that ?! Pissed off is an understatement. had to then put old one back on the car which is a mission in itself ffs :cry

So now gotta send stroppy email , get the thing back over there and await a replacement ..

Just be greatful they didn't send you the wrong front bumper and expect you to pay to return it!! I'm planning a visit to them to watch them consume the bumper and also give me my money back. I want to see for myself this set of idiots. I have never delt with such uselessness. Minispares comes close but at least they are just an independent business. Not a manufacturer backed cockup.

I ordered a set from Audi in Nottingham last year and the first set I went to pick up were twisted, they reordered and the next 2 sets were the same, turns out the central parts depot in UK has robots picking parts and damaging them, they had to send a human in to pick them properly.

This particular one has been made with the twist , it looks fine til you want to push onto the lip of body as it loops itself so you sort of keep turning it inside itself to right itself but of course you can't !! How did it go through quality control I'll never know

So basically the two ends have been vulcanised with a full 360degree twist in them?

Welcome to modern audi quality control. What chance have we got with complex parts when they can't make a rubber part right. Its probably all outsourced to the cheapest bid now.

I'd also wager the new oem parts are made with lesser quality materials to match their new quality control standards

Cut it with a really sharp blade and glue it with superglue. Same as making an O Ring

But get them to send another one too!!
