I agreed to buy the car two weeks ago
Seller had a deposit and arranged a delivery date
Fell through
No answer to calls or texts
Next thing it's posted on eBay
I've only seen via classic Audi as he s blocked me as a bidder
No explanation or deposit refund yet
It's not sour grapes, good luck if it's a forum buyer but be careful!
I'm contacting PayPal to arrange a refund.

Good luck with the refund - be aware that there is a clause on paypal that deposits for cars are NOT covered by the buyer protection.... so you are not guaranteed to get your money back...

From the user agreement (it also mentions motor vehicles of any kind are not covered):

Items purchased with multiple payments as a deposit followed by the payment of the balance, are not eligible.

If its only £100, I think you have got away quite lightly! Far too many scammers and fraudsters out there

ok i'll chip in here. The car is only 20 miles from me so i was going to have a look at it. I dont need to buy the car but thought it might be worth buying and slowly doing it up!!!
I have broken a few cars and i know they seem to rust on the front edge of the rear wheel arches and this one looks like its rusty in that area!!!

I got the money back after going through PayPal and making a claim he suddenly started answering messages
Think winning bidder was a low feedback (shill bidder ).

A: I think it is very strange . The car is 23 years old and is made of metal . Check your Ford KA for rust !! The car is galvanized . Nothing in the rule book says the wings and doors are . Get a life and read more . Try lego , as that does not rust .
