It's nice to have the coupe back.

I moved house early last year and the lack of a garage at the new gaff meant she had to go into storage. Anyway I busied myself building a new garage and have just got her motd and home. I really enjoyed the drive after such a long time of abscence.
I have a few plans including new rear tie arms rear arm poly bushes and a front subframe bush refresh. I also need to replace a rear wheel bearing on the RS4. Never enough hours. It keeps me from getting bored..

nice looking build on the garage!

Did you build it around the cars or is there a removable ramp somewhere out of shot?

I'm looking to do something similar for my parents. not as big though - its going to be a shaded pergola area for their garden. did you set the upright posts into the concrete?

The previous owner had a stable on the concrete slab. I dismantled it sold it on then had brick work done then bought a the green oak frame installed roof then got a roofer in for the tiles. I still need to shutter a concrete ramp up.. I just used ramps to get them in the dry.

The RS4 was a young lad fantasy. I never thought I'd own one. She cost me 9k is low miles mint condition and high spec. About 1k in parts and she is a great car. I see it as an investment looking at the prices of them now..

Brick work labour was £380 plus materials, roughly £600. Frame was £3800 for all the woodwork. I put all the trusses weather boards etc on myself. I got a roofer in and that was around £3600 for labour and materials. If guess by the time I've done the doors it'll be another 1k. One of my neighbours kindly donated all his old guttering which was very gratefully received. I ran over budget but projects always do. I just need to get doors made now. Oh and the ramp, again I'll do that myself. One thing I have learned is tradesmen are unreliable and you end up doing it yourself...
