i actually put part on the RS2 engine i have (yeah RS2/ADU with AAN intake) but since 2 years or 3 the engine is not complete i forgot where this part goes...

Like Newsh said, it looks like the support bracket for the turbo coolant pipe. Goes under the pipe just as it appears from behind the cambelt cover backing plate. The exhaust manifold heat shield attaches to the other end.

Jubilee clip at the top, no heatshield but the J nut is still there.
