S2 aby over heating HELP PLZ!

Can anyone shed some light on why my oil pressure is low if it's just the mfts that's out??? Shows low on a manual gauge aswell when hot????

What oil grade?
What pressure on idle?
What pressure at 3000rpm?

Have you got Vagcom?
You can check your engine temp in there, it comes from a different sensor.

10w50 semi as engine not fully bed in yet 5bar cold when hot 4 bar at 3k rpm sometimes 3to4 bar 3k revs sits about half a bar when tick OVER and engine hot my dad owns a garage we have the latest snap on scanner with all the goodies with it ... Might have a plug and play on Sunday check Sensors and temps with scanner then

Hey guys IT'S FIXED mfts was NOT a genuin bahr one so replaced with second hand one off my mates and rotated the thermostat vertical not horizontal as I had read that's the way it's ment to go and way hey temp below 90 oil pressure holding steady 1 bar on tick over not stalling when approaching traffic lights etc all is well and good ... now to crack on with the rest of the car get 1k on the clock and mapped up properly ... THANKS GUYS my car is finally after a year and a rebuild back on the road ( my thread aby build)

Crazy how a brand new sensor can cause so many dramas just because it's not a genuine part ... genuine parts from now on no eBay copy crap ... lesson learned the hard way!!!
