About 25 on a long run on the motorway with the cruise on at about 70mph -
22.6 today in a 380 mile round trip on the motorways.
That did include an utterly fantastic blast up the M6 toll though at ludicrous speeds

Normally get about 17mpg!

Nah Tom, a 1991 100 Avant quattro turbo. Probably aerodynamics and 17" wheels helps a lot. Your MPG is excellent, considering the power output of your car.Never show a fool a half built house.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

... Doubt you'll ever sell your car, Tom!
Besides, what could you replace her with for the money?

40mpg - 45mpg taking it easy on a long easy drive.
Errr... somewhat less under other circumstances. The following shows the trip computer mpg (average - not the instantaneous) figure for a c. 80 mile run:

Ck.Shocked, exhausted, hosed, bushed, dumped, chipped, mounted, filtered, gauged, packed, intermittantly wiped and braked. I mean broken. Now, about the car...Comment
