Which Fuel ??

hi, which is the best fuel to put in my S2 ? Is there a preffered brand.
& do i need to add any additives at any time.
Sorry for asking, but i searched for Petrol & 305 come up on the search.

Reason i ask is that my supra only liked Optimax, if i used super market stuff,
it didnt like it ?

Any super unleaded will do fine. Optimax is the stuff of choice unless your lucky enough to live in an Area where you can get 99 Ron from Tesco's!

yep 99ron super from tescos is the nuts - mine seems to love it, much better than really overpriced optimax round here - also there has been some concerns about what optimax actually contains in terms of its ron rating......did anything ever come of that btw?

Sainsbury's Super Unleaded does it for me, but that's as much to do with Nectar points...

@David, I wrote to Shell about it after the RR a year or two back and they said it would never happen blah blah but I still have a conspiracy theory. LOL.

As for Petrol girl racer Tesco 99RON is v good stuff and better priced than most places, its just difficult to get hold of.

Where abouts in the UK are you? since its mainly Tesco's in SE that have 99 RON

Im in staffordshire, so tesco aint got the 99ron fuel here.
Put esso's equvellant to optimax in last nite, but probably going to use optimax now

I use Esso Supreme 97 as the garage is at the end of the road.. Its not consistent though IMHO. Optimax is good most of the time. I just filled up with V Power 100 in Germany at the weekend which was brill

So the answer is any superunleaded however supermarket fuel defo has more crap additives than optimax. Check the injector cleaning thread from AAH
