Castle Coombe - got pics/vids?? Upload and view here!

OK guys,

I've put up an FTP for video footage, 'coz I know there were quite a few taking videos of the action, I for one would love to see some, so I've tapped into my little brothers resources and obtained a hefty amount of storage and bandwidth

If you wanna use an ftp client:
user: castlecoombe@rossburton.com
pass: s2
port: 21
host: rossburton.com

Please upload into a folder (named your s2forum userid) to keep it fairly organised... for browsers, goto ftp://castlecoombe@rossburton.com and you'll then be prompted for the username and password again; use the same as for the client! It should be as easy as making a new folder, then drag 'n' drop...

I will post more details here as soon as I have a working gallery; idea will be it's easy to upload/view but the script isn't quite finished yet... so for now, if you want, also up any pics and I'll put 'em into the gallery when it's ready!

A big thanks to anyone who does go outta there way to share their vids/pics, I know there's plenty that would like to see the pics and vids of some track action!! There's about 100GB of bandwidth on this so feel free to take anything from the collection you want too :-D

Ive just uploaded a track video with me and angus having a bit of a convo on the way around. I have a few more to upload as I have time.

The track video is mp4 and 25mb in size so quite big.

The layout of Castle Coombe is prettygood IMHO. Very safe too, no walls to crash into !

Too bad it's so flat I'm used to the Nordschleife and Spa so...

I hope the forum will organize a meet on one of those tracks someday ( I'm more than willing to help, of course )

Pete there is sound if you play it with quicktime rather than media player. You should do because the conversation me and angus had makes me chuckle.

I was trying to take it easy on the top bend and the last corner because of the short run off and I didnt wanna come off on my first track day.

Aha!. Cheers, I can hear it now. I remember seeing the smokescreen of that RS2, felt sorry for the guy. That was a very good effort for your first track day and the car sounds great!

I was too scared to take mine in case I might bend it, and I don't think the brakes aren't really up to it.
