sorry i dont like to blow my own trumpet . but i cant believe one of you chipped remapped turbo boys isnt posting below 9mins!! i managed 9mins dead with just 220bhp with road tyres and brakes.now come on you got to be able to beat that .didnt sabin on topgear do 10mins in a transit van.

How many times have you lapped the ring, coz memorizing 174 corners isn't easy. My experience with the ring is that each lap will teach you a new thing about it.

Practice makes perfect !

But you must know that it's not because you have a 500bhp car that you'll be "King of the Ring" and most Brit S2 owners haven't even been to the ring... Hence Sabine's performance with the Transit. She truly is "Queen of the Ring" whatever vehicle she drives !!!

She's overtaken me on lots of laps in her M5 "Ring Taxi" and I have to say that she's an incredible driver in the wet !

I drove one lap in an Audi A4 2.0 TDi (140ps) Avant, me and a friend rented in Frankfurt. Did 12mins around. My traveling mate did 11.34.

12mins is a good time.when i went there my first lap was 10mins i was scared stiff, worried about learning 100+ corners until i meet an Aussie lapping 10.14mins in a hired Astra estate who co-piloted me and explained all the bends i was breaking for on the up hill section were actually the straight and really there are a third of the bends you should be breaking for.

DONT BE SCARED plenty of helpful people there who will either drive you round or at least sit beside you and incourage you to crash your pride and joy !
