I wish there was another opinion to vote for other than the two listed in the opinion pole.
The choices listed tend to polarize the issue. To me (an old codger), I view the drifting scene as entertainment than does require a developed skill set. I admire anyone that can hold a vehicle in a controlled drift but always thought of drifting as a means to an end rather than the point of the exercise. As far as the colored tires/tyres go, the local authorities are saying that rival gangs now use this an a way of "marking there teritory".

I find drifting both entertaining and skillful. But when I think of drifting I think of the specific sport, a sport that has organised events, at suitable locations, with professional drivers. Anything outside of that is not drifting imo, that includes trackdays, chavs in carparks, or show-offs on wet roundabouts (or any other public road)
Just in the same way as 2 pissheads having a fight in the pub carpark are not 'boxing'
Sadly, as with many things in this world, it's the minority that spoil things for the majority
Gawd it's late, this won't make any sense in the morning
P.S Good thread
