Well my car definitely felt better last night. Subjective I know, but the ol' 3B was singing last night, and popping like a goodun. Great stuff.

On the way home tonight, I was having it large. Actually a bit too large. I was chasing a clio sport up a slip road and as we joined had to (read chose to!) dive between a car in the first lane and a car in the second lane, correcting the manouvre with a dab of the throttle! The two cars were not very impressed but it was as I dissappeared off up the dual carriageway in pursuit of the clio

When I got home tonight I could have turned round and done it all again. I think that sums up the S2!

It is said all turbo cars run better in cold conditions the air density is greater therefore less heat internally higher o2 levels bigger bang + h2o percentage is more
bit like fitting a mild form of water injection ...lol
Audi Ur quttros were tested in 1979 in sweden in snowy conditions and the original performance test figures were 6% higher than in germany.
similarlly people fit larger intercoolers and water injection to decrease cylinder temperature and squish denser air in with more fuel for larger gains than the weather conditions...

Let the cold stay for a while at least...
Porche 996 turbo tests again were on a frozen lake..just a peiceof usless trivia

Well I was easily catching him up the siip road, had to back off to execute my "move" and then was catching him again before the traffic intervened.... I wanted a "proper" go at him though!

            Cheers Steve,
