    DIY powder coating system

I've ordered myself a powder coating gun:

It works exactly the same as professional PC guns. The size of the parts you're about to PC depends on the size of the oven. I've got myself a household oven were a wheel would fit into. Can't wait to start with my first piece
If it all works well I'm building a bigger oven myself where at least a subframe and a harley bike frame would fit in to.
You can find all sorts of powders for different finishes. Also wrinkle finish

here's is some more info: http://www.columbiacoatings.com/

    Keep you posted.

The gun costs around a 100 bucks.
I've found a second hand oven. Luckily they cleaned it before we picked it up

Wrinkle finish ehh??? I guess Avant owners will be looking for that one, if possible in a tartan finish to match the slippers
Great site though, tools are cheap enough and the bulk buying savings are great, wouldnt mind getting this little kit together.

Ok guys, just got back from the garage and powdercoated some old tools. The systems works excellent. great piece of equipment. the bigger the oven, the bigger items I can coat in my own garage. The oven that I now have could accomodate a 17 inch wheel. But I want to PC my subframes and all that ort of stuff, so I need a big oven
