      Iam really interested to hear what Minhea has got to offer for the 7A.. I have a very strong motor and would rather increase it's power than swap it for a 20vt.

      Where to get Abt or Schrick cams?
      Cheers mis amigos,

          285 degree advertised duration is pretty radical... like a race application and not very streetable from what i know about cam design. To give you a comparison, TT makes a 16V race cam (16V VW 4cyl are nearly identical to the 7A setups, minus a cylinder) which is advertised 288 degree duration. Cam specs are as follows:

          Duration @ .050" IN/EX = 244 degrees
          Lift = .456" (!!!)
          Lobe center = 108 degrees
          IN Open @ .050" = 13.4 degrees BTDC

          I don't know that anyone would/should try to run that on the street. Still a very nice number of ~220PS though!

          Does anyone know wether this chipset was tested on a 7A with the hitachi or newer injectors to get these numbers?
