Focus Fog light?

My Sis in law just dinged her hire car and broke one of the little round fog lamps, miraculously no other damage I can see but the car has to go back today, anyone know how much do these cost from a stealer and what should they be asking her to pay? I said about 50quid max, just had a look on the Bay and you can get the lamps for 30 something $..

Any ideas? Ideally I'd get a lamp and fit it for her but she's just gone off to Portsmouth with the Ma In Law..

They won't see it like that. They will look at booking it into a ford dealer and getting them to fit it, so will be labour aswell. Good luck

Chances are they won't even notice,

I had a mondeo (i know but it was snowing and winter and my dad picked it up i didnt know till it was too late honest!)from a ford dealer in wiltshire about 9 years ago and was driving it home when i lost it in a big way. Ploughed backwards through a hedge into a field on the A21 eventually got it back out the same hole i had just made and through the storm ditch by driving 'enthusiastically' at the gap

Thought it was ruined so stopped on the way home and washed off the vast amounts of bull poo and mud and it was. It was battered down both sills and the bumpers looked a bit 'ill'. Worst bit was the exhaust that wasn't poking out where it should any more

I was dropping it off on the Sunday night and had to pop the key in a drop box so put a note in the car to explain what had happened thinking my credit card (or dads ) would be spanked for the damage.

I didn't hear a thing for six months so thought i'd better call and find out the outcome. Noone knew what i was on about and said the car had never been repaired Probably still running around filling the cabin with fumes to this day
