    Samco Hoses

I saw that there were a couple group buys for Samco turbo hoses.

They don't list the S2 on their website, did someone get them to make a run?

I will be needing some but I still have to sort out what I need (AAN with a ???? IM in a Canadian CQ).

Samco do have AAN hose kits available thru the normal retail channels, but the S2/RS2items (3B, ABY & ADU engines) come thru me. Send me a PM and I can get you more details.

Thanks Paul. I have an AAN but it has a 3B intake. I think I can get all 3B plumbing on it.
I saw the price at around 210 pounds, is that right? Do you happen to have a picture of the hose set so I can determine if they will work for me?

It will be a little while before I need them as I have to get the car imported from Canada to the U.S. and also source the stock 3B hard pipes.

      Thanks,
      Dave

3B pipes aren't going to work with the AAN manifold...

Or do you mean you have the AAN engine with 3B inlet manifold and other plumbing ?

          Paul:

What I think that Dave is trying to say is that the coupe has an ersatz ABY engine, based on an AAN with an intake manifold off a 3b ( likely a 200 3B)

Most of us "converters" follow the route of either a 3B from a US -spec 1991 200 with the 3b ( same intake as the 3b S2) or use the Ur S4/S6 AAN with the 3B intake and the 3b head coolant manifold.

After some further investigation, it looks like I have a stock ABY manifold on my AAN (which is essentially an ABY). Looks like I have an ABY pretty much.

It is a custom vacuum manifold. This is a custom install, we don't have real S2's here in the states.

Certainly ABY-esque there. Assume you know that pressure pipe into the throttle body is not ABY standard equipment. WIth the factory ABY or ADU pressure pipe - get a late plastic one if you can - you will be just fine with a set of ABY/ADU Samco hoses.
