paid 3650 for mine, bought with a loan and paid that off in a year, insurance for me, 22, 3years no claims is 650 with elephant fully comp, which isn' bad

I bought my s2 2 years ago, when I was 28..
The first audi bought at 20 years old, it was audi 90 (b2 81/85) 2.0L Fwd. Sold her and at 23 bought audi GT coupe 2.3, 88, last model of b2 coupes, fwd (which I still have and love). At 25 I bought audi 200 quattro (MC engine)- after year sold and bought audi 200 20v turbo quattro. Sold her last summer.. So, I was, I'm and probably will be the audi man

Got the 2.8e coupe when I was 22, got the s2 coupe at 27, now have the s4 avant. Deffo wagons from now on. Makes me feel so much more dignified...

It was my goal have one by 25, then I found I could get insurance for ~£1k with no no-claims and the wait was over.
Oh yeah, the S2 is my first car. Unless you count mum's corsa

I had to go through:
MKIII Escort 1.3 Base
MKIII Escort Ghia 1.6 was modified though
Audi 80 16v Quattro Wrote it off after 5 weeks
Audi 80 8v Sport Edition
Audi S2
Oh and a Chavalier daily driver at the same time as the S2, now replaced with a rather nice Golf GTI MKII 16v....
