How old were you when you bought your S car?

Bought my S2 when just turned 28, i'm 29 now. My 1st Audi was a pearlescant white 1985 - B plate Coupe with the 1994cc engine in. Had it 4 years from 18 - 22 when some young female driving her dad's car wrote it off!! Oh my insurance is £374 fully comp, 7 years no claims, with Adrian Flux!

I bought mine when i was 22, i went from a Nova SR (17yr old) to an Audi coupe 1990 2.0e (1999) to a Golf Driver (2000) to an S2 (2001)

bought mine when i was 30 but bought my g reg 10valve pearlescent white ur when i was 24 but cant post pic off it as pic to damn big .first car opel manta a series 1.9 sr at 17 then 4yrs later opel manta gte exclusive coupe in dolphin grey then ur quatt now s2 coupe

Just skimming thru the posts looks like Im one of the oldest with Chris at 44 !

Worked my way through 5 Audis over the past 3 and a half years to get to the S2 - started off with a great little Audi 80 1.6e, complete with carburettor, which set me on my way, upgraded to a 2ltr B4 80 off ebay that also came with a carb and was a disaster (ABT single point injection ) Then I saw the light and discovered 5 pots!! Got a wonderful 2.3e 10v Coupe from Paul, Armo750 (via his bro Jas11n). When a red Saxo took the front end off it ( ) I then got a pearl white cq20v and then Tina's old pearl 3B ("Jimmy") came up a few months back and here I am!

Brought my Ur-Quattro when I was 21, RS2 followed at 25, and I'm now 32 yrs old and still have them both.

With all the 30 (somethings) at the beginning of the thread I don't feel so bad, bought ours when I was 32, 4 years ago, but we did the Ur thing first, and bought that when I was 26 and the boss only 24 - who used it every day for work, complete with single box exhaust .... Ahhh, those where the days...
