Digital Boost and EGT on Stock Digital display

Right... after a chat with a mate, we need a donor dispay unit. If anyone has a complete set of clocks with the display still attached or just the display then drop me a line and I will see what we can do. I make no promises as to how long I will need it so make sure you won't miss it for a while. Also I will try to make sure I return it in the same condition but I make no promises.

If I need to I will work from my own but as it's my daily driver it could be a while before I can get started.

I will program it to do all sorts of displays so you can select your choice. I will also design it to make fitting as easy as possible but until I can see the rear of the clocks I can't say how easy it will be.

Also if anyone has wiring diagrams of the senders or the clocks they would be very useful.

the display unit seems to be fed by the white connector on its back. It also connects to the rest of the cluster with 11 pins when the two units are slotted together.

Where abouts are you? I presume you've got an idea what you'd be doing?

I live in south east London. I'm an Electronics Engineer but don't let that fool you. It's not an easy task but I think that me and my mate should be able to come up with something.

Nice feature, but have found out that the best solution is to just log the data and review them when standing still. If you got time to switch between the different values you're driving to slow......
I WB unit with aux input for different sensors is a possible solution.

I'm running a DTA P8Pro management system with logging so doesn't need another system, but maybe others in here?

Data logging would also be great as long it doesnt raise the Costs very much! I think if it was able to Record ca. 30 minutes of data and then with some kind of button Combination display it On the Same Stock display while the car is stopped then it will be Just Fine! So maybe 2-3 button to choose Modes and Set Max-Alarm values and recall the memory!

The other option would be a PC usb connector and a small Proggie!

Then there might be a way to make datalogger that logs everything. And when you watch the "log" it moves speedo, rev and other gauges and then shows on that little display the data you prefer(boost? egr? intake temp?).

It would be nice to have like 30min datalogger that would show you all the info that happens on the gauges.

I'm in on this little screen boost-thingie, with or without logger.

At the moment it sounds too good to be true.
I'd prefer bar-graph as default (to look pretty) but switchable or memory function to give the necessary values when needed.

Sounds pretty neat! I'm interested but do we think it'd work on the UrS4's display? They're pretty similar to the S2 I think!!
